Gentlemen of the Society:
The Nominating Committee is pleased to announce its slate of nominees for 2019-2020. Our current officers have agreed to be placed in nomination for the coming year with two exceptions. Second Vice President Andrew Patterson declined the move to First Vice President which meant that we were required to fill both offices: First and Second Vice President. We are very pleased to be able to place before you Patrick Foy for First Vice President and Christopher Thornton, a newer member of the Society, for the office of Second Vice President. Charles Brown is leaving the post of Treasurer and we express our profound thanks to him for his years’ of service to the Society. Richard Beach will be nominated for the office of Treasurer.
We thank this years’ officers for their leadership: President Richard MacDowell, 1st Vice President William Burke, 2nd Vice President Andrew Patterson, Treasurer Charles Brown, Secretary Frank Alguire, Librarian/Historian Willard Bruce, Chaplain Nixon McMillan and Physician Richard MacDowell.
The election will be held at the stated meeting of the Society on November 14. The officers will be installed in office at the St. Andrew’s Nicht celebration dinner on December 2.
