The first annual St. Andrew’s Society of Albany Garden Gala, sponsored by the Garden Committee, was held Friday June 13th in the garden at the Rooms. Many fine port wines and appetizers were sampled by the members of the Society and their guests. The plant and garden book-swap was very successful thanks to the many contributors. Our Society Secretary and Piper, Gordon Peters, a master gardener, spoke and answered many question about the various kinds of gardening. We thank the Garden Committee members for their many hours of work this spring preparing the garden and hosting this wonderful event. The Garden is spectacular this year!
