Cemetery Walk and Garden Gala – Join us Oct. 17th!

Dear Society Members,

We hope you, your wives, and your guests will join us for two back to back events on Sunday October 17th.

First, at 2PM, we will meet at the St. Andrew’s plot at Albany Rural Cemetery for a walking tour of impressive monuments of Society past Presidents and members. Many are elaborate works of art and it will be peak Fall foliage, perfect for a walk about and history lesson. The walking tour should take about 1.5 hours.  It will involve unpaved and uneven carriage paths so please wear appropriate footwear!

There is no cost for this event. If you are interested in this event, please contact  me at wbruce5190@gmail.com to sign up, and  I will provide a map to show the start location and tour route.

After our cemetery monuments tour, participants and others are encouraged to attend our ‘Garden Gala’, a garden party in the St. Andrew’s Society’s Garden.   It will start at 4PM.

The cost of the garden party is $15 per person, or $25 per couple, to be paid upon arrival.

Feel free  to attend just one or the other of the events, but we hope you will join us for both!

Reminder: Events are for the fully vaccinated. Masks are optional.
